What Lens does
Lens is a browser extension and accompanying service that rewrites web articles using an AI model according to a personal profile you create. You install it; it runs in your browser; it sends article text to our server which forwards it to an AI provider; the result is rendered in your browser.
What Lens is not
Lens is not a screen reader. It is not a substitute for medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. It does not make any website "ADA compliant." It rewrites text by AI, which can be wrong; do not rely on Lens for safety-critical information without checking the original.
Your account
No account is required for the free tier. Pro requires a Stripe payment relationship. You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lens to violate any law, to bypass paywalls, to scrape sites in violation of their terms, or to generate misleading versions of articles to share publicly without indicating they're AI-rewritten.
AI output
Adapted articles are AI-generated and may contain errors. The original page is always one click away. We do not warrant that adaptations are accurate. Do not use Lens output as your sole source for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the prior 12 months. We do not exclude liability for matters that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the extension before material changes take effect.
